| Green Roof Design | The VersiCell was installed directly over a “torch on” waterproofing membrane system which was adhered to a concrete slab substrate. A light grade geotextile (filter cloth) was then placed over the area with the planting medium barrowed out. With this application a hardy grass / lawn was installed to copy with the exposed conditions of this alpine site. This green roof area is designed to collected runoff from the “hard” concrete areas while drawing visitors out to the beautiful / natural environment. |
| Size | Approx 120 m2 |
| Comments | 30mm VersiCell was installed to replace a heavy layer of drainage aggregate giving better drainage options and deeper planting depths i.e. 300mm cell will typically replace 150-200mm of aggregate! |
