International Skyrise Greenery Conference 2010

The theme of the International Skyrise Greenery Conference 2010 is "Surfaces of Creativity: Spaces of Delight".

This celebrates the creativity in greening urban surfaces:

  • innovations rooftop greenery technology
  • vertical greenery
  • application of technologies and how they integrate with architecture/landscape

At the same time, it recognises the positive impact of these new surfaces to the city and its inhabitants:

  • green psyche and social communal effects
  • urban biodiversity
  • environmental sustainability
  • heat shield and thermal aspects of the green surfaces

Seen together, "Surfaces of Creativity: Spaces of Delight" creates a platform for the holistic exchange of ideas in the new innovations of urban greenery and its potential to transform our cityscapes and the lives of the people.
